At Hawley Primary School, the Happiness Heroes are a dedicated group of pupils who work together to help make our school a joyful, inclusive, and supportive place for everyone.

What We Do:

• Promote kindness, respect, and wellbeing across the school.
• Gather feedback from classmates on how to make school life happier.
• Organise activities and campaigns that focus on mental health and emotional wellbeing.
• Help create safe spaces where everyone feels listened to, valued, and included.
• Support anti-bullying initiatives and lead by example.
• Lead activities that bring our community together at playtimes such as wellness colouring and organised playground games.
• Complete missions to help our school to achieve accreditations

Why We’re Important:
The Happiness Heroes give pupils a voice and play a big part in shaping a positive school environment. We believe that happy children learn better, make stronger friendships, and feel more confident in themselves.

This year, our Happiness Heroes have made us incredibly proud by leading the way in achieving the Gold Accreditation for myHappymind!

They worked tirelessly to gather powerful video testimonials from both staff and pupils, showing how the myHappymind programme has positively transformed our school community. Thanks to their dedication and teamwork, every child in our school has now proudly received a Gold Badge to celebrate this fantastic achievement.
